As protests over living costs, housing, wages and public services spread across Europe, questions about leadership, economic security and opportunities for younger generations are becoming increasingly urgent. Recent reporting highlights widespread frustration with living standards and economic pressures.

GPBNet President Dr. Nicolae Cirpala calls for a constructive alternative: empower people to cooperate across generations, cultures, religions and economic sectors, and invest time, skills and resources in peaceful, prosperous communities.

From global crisis to local solutions

GPBNet’s vision is to advance Ultimate Global Peace through international cooperation, education, grassroots leadership, humanitarian initiatives and sustainable community development. Its 24/7 global marathon invites participants from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Oceania to share prayers, testimonies, interviews, peacebuilding activities and calls for action.

The movement encourages people to replace hostility and wars with dialogue, support youth development, strengthen families, and challenge leaders to prioritize human welfare over destructive conflict. Its ambitious mobilization vision seeks to engage 2.1 billion people and raise $2.1 billion for peace-related action; these are campaign goals, not reported achievements.

A testimony from Kenya: Peace becomes a practical mission

During the marathon, Ambassador Samuel Karanja Mwangi of Kenya shared his experience as a GPBNet Global Peace Ambassador. He described how his peacebuilding credentials helped open doors during his missionary work in the Philippines and supported his efforts to promote peace in Kenya.

Mwangi also spoke about establishing the Mount Kenya Centre of Peace Studies and his plans to train people in peacebuilding. His central message was clear: peace creates the conditions for prosperity, joy, learning, communication, harmony and unity.

His testimony reflects GPBNet’s core invitation: turn personal commitment into practical local leadership, education and sustained community action.

YOU + AI + GOD: The Laboratory of the Impossible
