Once Mahatma Buddha was on a tour. In this sequence, he stayed in a village. A crowd gathered in the village to see Mahatma Buddha. Everyone started reaching out to him to seek his blessings. Seeing this, Mahatma Buddha decided that he would stay there for a few days and preach to the people.

Satsang started happening in the village every evening. In satsang, Buddha started giving discourses which give new direction to life. A huge crowd of people started attending the satsang. There was such a hypnosis in Buddha's speech that his discourses used to descend directly into the hearts of the people. Used to give new meaning to his life.

Every day a young man used to come in the satsang. Has occurred. He would listen to Buddha's discourse everyday and go home. This was going on for many days. One day after the discourse was over, the young man went to the Buddha and said, ' Maharaj! I have been coming to listen to your discourses for many days. But after leaving here, I am not able to behave in my household life as I go here after hearing. it makes me doubt your sermons

Buddha gave the young man a bamboo basket and asked him to fill it with water. The young man brought water in a basket. Buddha asked him to fill water in that basket everyday. The young man started bringing water in the basket every day.

After a few days Buddha asked the young man that you have been filling water in the basket for so many days, did you see any difference in the basket? The young man said yes, earlier the basket was very dirty. There was • soil in it. It is clean by filling water everyday.

Buddha explained to that young man that just as filling water in this basket for a few days removed its dirt, in the same way, one day all the disorders of your life and your mind will be removed by coming to satsang everyday.
