The absence of even a single folk song in the context of Lord Buddha in Bhojpuri, Awadhi and Magadhit literature is a cause for concern. Dr. Anurag Sharma said that the ideology of Lord Buddha is found in the stream of Saint Kabir. A lot of influence of the Buddhist philosophy of Mahatma Buddha can be seen on the thoughts of Kabir.
