The principle of cause and effect is an important principle in relation to karma. Every mental or physical activity of a human being comes under karma. In Vedic philosophy this is called karma. The soul is free to act. After karma comes into contact with the soul, its self-independence is destroyed and it has to suffer the consequences of its actions. It is due to karma that the soul becomes bound and has to suffer its consequences. According to the actions of a living being, he gets good or bad results. Even life is not possible without doing work. Many actions are done out of selfishness and attachment, while many actions are done out of disinterest. In order to live a happy worldly life, inspiration has been given in Geeta to do work selflessly and without attachment.
In general the aim of Karma theory is the spiritual upliftment of human beings. But it is very unfortunate that this spiritualism has made humans self-centered, egoistic and selfish. Individualism or spiritualism have become separated from each other. The good or bad consequences of this separatism are also visible in the society. It is interconnected with the environment or other entities and influences each other. In this way the scope of Karma theory has become very wide. The importance of the principle of karma in increasing the feeling of universal brotherhood and spreading prosperity all around is proving itself. It is also capable of providing peace and progress in the world.
