Mr. Mathias Ngong Njoya is a Pharmacy Technician and a Humanitarian Logistican with 11 years and 2 years of experience respectively. He is an SDGs Ambassador, Social activist and very passionate about the fight against drugs abuse and in building the capacity of youth. He is the Founder of two very important organisations geared toward the fight against drug abuse amongst youth and youth capacity building, which are Youths Against Drug Abuse Foundation (YADAF) International founder in September 2019 and African Youth Empowerment and Capacity Building Academy AYECBA founder in January 2021.
He was nominated for a social media award for the best advocate for SDG 3 by Digital Citizenship and SDGs Project (DigCit SDG) Cameroon in 2020 and in December 2020, he was recognised as the Best Social Justice Activist by Global Institute of Peace Justice and Liberty GIPJAL, Liberia
Mathias is currently a second-year Public Health student with the University of the People, a tuition free online University.
He was one of the 500 young people selected amongst thousands of applications to attend the 2019 YALI Impact Symposium in Yaoundé on the 19th of November 2019 and one of the 150 young Leaders selected for the YALI Alumni Impact E-Mentoring Program organise by the U.S Embassy Cameroon in August 2020.
Mathias is an alumni of Young African Leaders Initiative Regional Leadership Centre (YALI RLC) Cohort 14, 2020 World Literacy Foundation Ambassador and 2020 Climate Reality Leadership Corps Fellow.
